WHERE AND WHO. Talk to the Dungeon Warden outside Carlin. A dungeon is for a party of 2 to 4 players - it cannot be done alone. The party leader opens the trial board, picks the dungeon and the difficulty, and every member confirms the ready check. The Crypt of Trials opens at level 75, and the lowest level in the party must be at least two thirds of the highest, as for shared experience.
DIFFICULTIES. Easy, medium, hard, epic and legendary. Every step gives monsters and bosses more health and damage, adds affixes (extra powers) to the ordinary monsters and new tricks to the bosses - and gives more experience and better rewards. Epic opens after a hard clear of that dungeon (or from level 100), legendary after an epic clear. Recommended levels: epic 120, legendary 150. From level 120 the Crypt is open on epic and legendary only.
RUNS PER DAY. Every character has 2 runs a day; they reset at 10:00. A Dungeon Token (in-game shop, tradeable) gives one extra run and is used automatically. A run that fails or is abandoned within its first 5 minutes is refunded. Each difficulty has a time limit, from 50 minutes on easy to 80 on legendary.
DEATH AND REJOINS. A dead member wakes up at the dungeon graveyard and can rejoin the party: 3 times on easy, 2 on medium, 1 on hard and epic, never on legendary. Each rejoin costs a gold fee (5,000 gold in the Crypt) or a Weakened stack (HP, Mana and DMG -10% for the rest of the run) - you choose. While you still have a rejoin left, dying costs nothing: no experience or skill loss, and your blessings stay. Only a death after your last rejoin (on legendary: every death) counts like a normal death. Equipment, backpack and the amulet of loss are never lost inside a dungeon.
WIPES AND DISCONNECTS. If the whole party dies, you have 3 minutes to rejoin before the run fails; on legendary a wipe ends the run at once. A player who disconnects is parked safely and returns to the party on reconnect. At 09:54, before the daily save, every running dungeon ends and its run is refunded.
REWARDS. After the final boss every member opens a personal chest in the reward room: one piece of equipment plus a purse of gold, dungeon marks or a rare token. Higher difficulties roll better rewards.
DUNGEON MARKS. Spend them at the Dungeon Warden (say trade) on boosts and dungeon runes. The trial board's Your boosts button lists the boosts you own.
RECORDS. The Almanac's Highscores tab shows the fastest clears on hard, epic and legendary: all time, this and last week, this and last month.
Houses & commands
Two ways to get a house. Buy it now: stand in front of its door and say !buyhouse - a window shows the price (the minimum bid in gold, or one gold more than the auction's current price once someone has bid, plus points by size) and the house is yours at once. Or bid gold on the website (Houses): your bid is the most you would pay; the highest bid after 24 hours wins and pays one gold more than the next-highest bid, from your bank when the server restarts next (daily, after the 10:00 save). A won auction that cannot be paid is cancelled, and the account cannot bid on houses for 7 days. Look at a free house's door to see its prices.
Houses are for premium accounts, one house per character. When your premium runs out you lose your house at the next server restart (daily, after the 10:00 save): the items you can carry go to your depot, furniture stays in the house. You are warned at login during the last 7 days.
Rent is charged automatically per rent period (see Times & Extras); keep enough gold in your bank.

RESISTANCES. The Skills window lists your protection against physical, fire, earth, energy, ice, holy and death damage - use the small menu button in the window's title bar to show or hide each row. Green protects you, red means you take extra damage, grey is neutral. The value is the percentage taken off every incoming hit of that type by the equipment you wear.
Protections multiply, they do not add up: each item takes its share off the damage that is left. Two items with 10% fire protection give 19%, not 20% - the first takes 10 off a 100 hit, the second takes 10% of the remaining 90. A stone skin amulet (80%) worn with a dwarven armor (5%) gives 81% physical, and +20% with -10% of the same element gives 12%, not 10%.
The number you see is exactly what the server applies to each hit; every item rounds on the actual hit, so a very small hit can differ by one point. Protection against fields on the ground (fire, energy and poison fields) is a separate property and is not shown.
ARMOR VALUE is the armor of everything you wear, added up. It softens physical hits only - weapons, monsters' melee and their physical attacks. Shields and weapons protect through your Defence instead, which depends on your shielding or weapon skill and your fight mode, and is not shown.
REGENERATION. Hover the health or mana bar for a moment: the second line is how many hit points or mana you gain per second from everything together - your vocation's food regeneration, a life ring, a ring of healing, soft boots and the recovery spells. It shows 0 inside a protection zone because nothing regenerates there, and it updates the moment you eat, equip something or change zone.
